Screened the latest cut of Project 2, currently titled “Parting Ways.” Thinking that i may change the name soon to “Distant Lover.” Still have a lot of work to do — I haven’t finished the After Effects work and there are still some story issues that I need to iron out. I really like receiving feedback and criticism. Always nerve-racking beforehand, but afterwards I always have a lot of new ideas to work with.
Back to editing. The screenshot above is from the latest film.
What’s next: Update Project 2 and begin working on my screenplay for next semester.
First day of film school at USC. Just finished the Martin Luther King video for Duke University’s 2009 celebration ceremony … I’ll post a link once it’s up.
So I’m in the process of making a 30-minute documentary for the Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture at Duke University. The doc should be done in Spring of 2009, but here’s a little segment that was shown last week at the 25th Anniversary of the center.
I edited the following piece for Duke University’s 2008 Martin Luther King Commemoration. I was also responsible for the After Effects work done at the beginning and end of the clip.
A video for DukeNews that looks at how the proposed Senate immigration bill may alter Duke’s ability to recruit international scholars to work in its lab.
