The documentary I’m working on for my third semester production class at USC is called Polar Opposites.  Here’s the logline:

Polar Opposites is a USC documentary film that attempts to investigate the pole dancing trend and why women are flocking to the pole in droves.

Here’s the pitch video for the documentary project.  This is what Caitlin, the director of this project, showed potential crew members, teachers and administrators as she was pitching the project for consideration as a Production 3 documentary film to be produced and funded by USC.

I’m going to be editing the project along with Erika Edgerley.  The director and producers are planning a whole web presence for the project, which includes a facebook page, a tumblr account, a twitter account and a YouTube presence that reveals news and informaton pertaining to the creation of this documentary.

It’s January 11th and my second year at USC Film School begins today!

This semester I’m registered for Intermediate Documentary Production.

First semester is going to be intense (I’m editing a 27-minute documentary on pole dancing) and also taking Script Analysis.  Chyea!

Submitting BUTTERSCOTCH to film festivals for 2010.  Keep your fingers crossed.  Applying to a couple of North Carolina festivals as well as some music / experimental festivals around the country.

BUTTERSCOTCH is my third, and most recent project, at USC FILM SCHOOL. It’s a romantic fantasy in which a bum gets over his break-up with a materialistic girlfriend.

It premieres December 12th at 2:30PM in Norris Theatre.

There will be 12 other films showing during that time slot.

Originally this picture was a green card.  I replaced the green card in After Effects CS3 with a pre-production picture from Butterscotch.  The video after the picture is the beginning of Lullaby of Birdland.

This is only an 8 second clip that ends abruptly.  FYI.
